It has been a long winter, but spring is finally here, and that means lots of fun outdoor things to do here in the Hudson valley.  Including opening weekend of visiting season at one of our favorite places, the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.

The Woodstock farm Sanctuary is located at 2 Rescue Road in High Falls.  Visitors will get to meet over 350 rescued farmed animals, check out the vegan snack bar, and get a first look at all of the new merchandise.  It is a great place to bring the kids for a fun and educational day with the animals.

Visiting hours are from 10:30 am to 4 pm every Saturday and Sunday starting this weekend, and no reservations are necessary.  Tours are given hourly from 11 am to 3 pm, and run about 75 minutes.  The Woodstock Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids, seniors, and active military and veterans. Toddlers and members are free. For more information, visit http://woodstocksanctuary.org/.
