A Newburgh woman was arrested after police say she repeatedly hit her ex-boyfriend’s car while both were driving in separate cars.

New York State Police in Monroe arrested 21-year-old, Marshell L. Williams, from the City of Newburgh for 2nd-degree criminal mischief and 2nd-degree reckless endangerment.

Police say on Monday, Williams followed her ex-boyfriend in her car from the City of Newburgh to the area of Woodward Terrace in the Town of Woodbury. Williams allegedly used her vehicle to hit her ex-boyfriend’s car while both were traveling on Woodward Road.

Williams struck the victim’s car several times in the rear bumper and both side areas causing substantial damage. Police say the estimated damage to the vehicle is over $1,500.

Williams was arraigned in the Town of Woodbury Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail and $ 6,000 bond.
