My Lost Treasure: The Beach Boys

Songs with babe or baby in the title.  That is the current theme on My Lost Treasure.  Today is an oldie, but  goodie, as they say.  One of my favorites.

I have always liked The Beach Boys as a real little kid, but I really started liking them when I was in junior high school.  There was this pizza place in New Windsor where I grew up called Estee's Pizza.  I'm not sure if it was still Estee's when they put a pool table and a jukebox in, but I think it was. Anyway, there was a ton of Beach Boys music on the jukebox, and we used to play pool and listen to music. I feel like Help Me Rhonda got played a lot.

I finally got to see The Beach Boys for their 50th anniversary tour a few years back at Bethel Woods, thanks to my friend Chip who set us up with great seats and backstage passes.  It was a show to remember, for sure.  Thanks Chip.  Have a great weekend, and enjoy today's baby song.
