Kelsey Grammer, the star of "Frasier" and "Cheers," is opening a brand new brewery in the Hudson Valley.

The New York Stater Brewers Association posted a photo to their Instagram account this week that shows Grammer holding a NYSBA shirt with the caption "Something's brewing in NYS."  The post includes a hashtag declaring "yes, it is him."

UPDATE: The photo posted by NYSBA has been removed from their Instagram account. When we spoke with the organization's director he declined further comment out of respect for Grammer, who apparently has been flooded with inquiries about the project.

Paul Leone, the director of the New York State Brewers Association, told New York Upstate that the project will be called Faith American Brewing Company, named after Grammer's daughter, Faith. While still in the planning stages, the brewery will be located in Margaretville.

Grammer owns property in the Catskills and will reportedly grow his own hops and barley to be used in his hand-crafted brews. The voice of  Bart Simpson's arch-enemy, Sideshow Bob, won't be creating the beers himself. Instead, Grammer has selected an unnamed professional brewer to craft his ales.

Other details about the project are a mystery for now. There's been no word if the brewery will also be a restaurant. But if it is, we'd be pretty disappointed if the Fraiser star didn't have tossed salads and scrambled eggs.on the menu. As for the size of the brewery, that's also still unknown. If other breweries in the area are any indication, we expect it to at least be intimate enough so that everybody there knows your name. Although we can't guarantee that they'll all be glad you came.

Norm and Cliff wannabes shouldn't head up to the Catskills to reserve their barstools just yet. The brewery isn't expected to open for at least a year.
