New York Comedy Festival Honors Lucille Ball With Exclusive Merchandise

An upstate New York town inspired a Twilight Zone episode. Binghamton, NY is the home to Rod Serling, the creator of the Twilight Zone. He was inspired to write the "Walking Distance" episode and included the gazebo from Recreation Park in his hometown.

A Hollywood star and beloved comedian, Lucille Ball has a museum dedicated to her in upstate New York as well.

Where Is The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum In New York State?

This museum is located in Jamestown, NY which is Lucy's hometown. I had the chance to visit Jamestown, NY and explore the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum. 

This museum highlights the lives of Lucy and Desi Arnaz along with their careers. Today, The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum has brought in thousands of fans to see this unique museum for over 25 years.

The admission price for adults are $23.00, seniors can get in for $22.00. College students and youth only pay $20.00 for admission, children's admission price is $18.00 and children up until the age of 5 get in for free. 

They are open daily from 10am until 5pm and closed on Wednesday.

New York Comedy Festival Honors Lucille Ball

The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival shared information about the recent event on Facebook.

This comedy festival was presented by the National Comedy Center on August 1-4, 2024 in the hometown of Lucille, Jamestown, NY.

There were live performances, comedy late night shows, Lucy's legacy events, tribute shows, museum tours and more.

Fans and residents gather for this fun event to highlight Lucille's life and more. Festival merchandise is now for sale from the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival.

The 2024 Lucille Ball Comedy Festival Merchandise Is Now Available

The National Comedy Center shared that official merchandise from the 2024 Lucille Ball Comedy Festival is now for sale. A t shirt and cup from this event have been created by Gary Peters Jr. 

Peter's is known for his talented work with his murals of this hollywood couple throughout Jamestown, NY.
