Hello, spring! We have finally stepped into the month of March which is exciting. As we look forward to the official start of spring, we can think ahead to all of the great things that come along with that.

Personally, I’m craving warmer temps, sunshine filled days along with seeing the flowers blossoming in the Hudson Valley. Spring also means that we can start attending outdoor events and visiting our local ice cream stands once again!

Beloved Hudson Valley Ice Cream Stand Reveals 2026 Opening Date

Hudson Valley residents usually hand a few ice cream stands that they choose over others. We enjoy supporting local businesses that appreciate our service and have delicious menu options as well!

A beloved Hudson Valley ice cream stand made an exciting announcement on social media. They were eager to share with the community on their opening date for the 2026 season.

Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar in Newburgh shared that they will open on March 27, 2026. They also highlighted,

“The days are getting longer, spring is in the air, and your favorite ice cream spot is getting ready to open back up. We can’t wait to see you all there!!”

Just as much as our favorite ice cream stands are as excited to see us, we are as well!

What Can We Order At Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar In Orange County, NY?

Last summer, Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar had yummy flavors for summer including smores, orange and vanilla creamsicle along with strawberry and watermelon dole whip!

In the fall, they also had apple cider donut sandwiches which locals loved. I could always go for a cup of chocolate chip cookie dough or peanut butter ice cream.

It will be exciting to see what’s on the menu this spring at Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar.

Not only can we get a cup or cone of our favorite ice cream but they also have ice cream cakes as well!

Where Else Can We Find Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar In The Hudson Valley?

While we know that we can visit this fan favorite ice cream stand in the Orange County area, we can see throughout the area as well.

Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar has been to Newburgh Brewing Company  for the DNA Kidz dance party with their sweet treats along with Devitt’s Nursery in New Windsor. They are also available for events in the Hudson Valley.

Soon enough, we will know exactly where to find them in the Hudson Valley,  at their stand in Newburgh!

Be sure to follow them on social media for updates. Happy spring!

I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it's a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.

The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren't any boring flavors in our area.

Thankfully, we have a large selection of local ice cream shops to visit in the Hudson Valley.
