A family-owned and operated farm stand market and eatery in Dutchess County, New York has announced they are closing after 10+ years.

For many years the folks at McEnroe Organic Farm have provided the area with some of the Hudson Valley's best farm-raised meats, vegetables, and fruits. The selection of meats and more have had customers coming from far and wide to enjoy the "fruits" of the family-owned farm but even with all of the support from loyal customers, it appears that they have decided to close the farm stand market and eatery.

Why is McEnroe Farm Market & Eatery Closing?

Skeen told us that after much discussion, and in large part due to financial difficulties the family had to make an "incredibly difficult decision" and decided that they had to close the market and eatery. The family shared their thanks on Facebook saying,

"We appreciate all the support our loyal customers have given to us throughout the years."

Skeen did tell us that the farm will still be growing items on its land and will still offer many of the things it has been known for over the years including public tours that highlight farming the sustainable and natural way and composting.
