Adams Fairacre Farms is Selling an Awesome Halloween Snack
Have you seen the latest Halloween-themed creation available at Adams Fairacre Farms?
Halloween is all about dressing up, trick-or-treating, decorating the house, watching scary movies, and, of course, eating as much ridiculous Halloween-themed food as possible. If you are a fan of Halloween and are looking for something a little different from the usual candy and Halloween cookies, Adams Fairacre Farms has brought back one of its most appropriately spooky snacks.
The Skullzones are back!

Skullzones at Adams Fairacre Farms
Yes, the folks at Adams Fairacre Farms are once again turning calzones into little edible skulls, and honestly, this might be one of the better Halloween food ideas I've seen this year.
The Skullzones are baked fresh every day at the Adams Pizza Shops and are stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, and a blend of spices. So basically, it's everything you want in a good calzone, just in a shape that looks like it belongs sitting next to a bowl of candy at your Halloween party.
What Stores Will Have Them?
Adams said the Skullzones will be available through Halloween at the Adams Fairacre Farms locations in Middletown, Newburgh, and Wappinger.
And if you think about it, you can turn almost anything into a Halloween snack if you put a little effort into it, right?
Fun Halloween-Themed Food Ideas
Hot dogs can become "mummy dogs" by wrapping them in strips of crescent dough. Pizza can be turned into little spider pizzas with olives for the spiders. Mozzarella sticks can become "mummy sticks," while deviled eggs can get a creepy makeover with sliced olives to make them look like eyeballs.

Then there's the classic Halloween punch, which you can make extra creepy with gummy worms, floating eyeball candies or even some dry ice for a spooky fog effect. Just make sure the dry ice doesn't actually end up in anyone's drink.
Of course, you can't forget the desserts.

Desserts on Halloween
Brownies can become graveyards, cupcakes can turn into little monsters, and strawberries dipped in white chocolate can look surprisingly creepy with a few chocolate lines added to make them look like tiny ghosts. There are really endless possibilities when it comes to Halloween food. You can take just about anything and make it look creepy with a few simple additions.
And while I'm sure some of you have some pretty creative Halloween food ideas of your own, I'm always looking for new ones. Do you have any Halloween-themed foods you make every year at your house? If you do, would you mind sharing them with me? Email me at CJ@HudsonValleyCountry.com.
