When Will It Stop Snowing in New York?

Allegedly, the Hudson Valley can remove snow from their 2024 bingo card. While the area has fallen victim to freak weather in the past, fingers and toes are crossed that the current forecasts of a snowless spring season are accurate. The same unfortunately can't be said further north.

Latest Snowfall Records in New York State

Not only has snow been seen in New York State as late as April, but snowfall records have even been set during the spring month. On April 1st, 1997, Greene County, NY in the Hudson Valley saw more than three feet of snow, a county record. As recently as 2018, even New York City saw nearly five inches of snow in April.
