A new "game" has been sweeping the nation, and this weekend, Ulster County Subaru owners may get caught up in the trend.
"Trend" can be a dangerous word, especially when it refers to a movement that starts on social media. Some activities, like the "Kia Trend", for example, is nothing more than grand theft auto. Luckily, Subaru owners might be on the receiving end of something much more positive.
Moo Moo Subaru Trend in the Hudson Valley, NY
The trend, which originally hit the Hudson Valley in the beginning of 2024, is called "Moo Moo Subaru", and revolves around cow-themed trinkets being left on Subaru cars by other Subaru drivers. Meant to be an act of owner-to-owner recognition, one city in Ulster County, NY is currently in the spotlight.
"I am ready to start mooing in Kingston, NY", posted an excited Subaru owner in the fast-growing Moo Moo Subaru Facebook group this week. They weren't alone.
Subaru Owners in Kingston, NY May Be "Mooed" This Weekend
"I’ll be out later around Kingston Mooing!", replied another mooing enthusiast. "I’m in Kingston still waiting to get a moo", answered someone who was eagerly awaiting the first time they would find a random cow on their car. Despite the unique trend, "mooing" supplies are surprisingly easy to get.
