Sunday's bitterly cold weather will probably be sticking around for most of the week ahead. The mild surge of weather late last week is long gone, as windy, frigid air returns to the Hudson Valley area.

How cold will it get?

Temperatures will stay in the 20s for highs Sunday and Monday, and down in the single digits for lows. Wind chill factors could reach -10 overnight.

Tuesday will be slightly warmer with highs in the low 30s and a chance of showers. There is a chance of snow Tuesday night with slight accumulations.

Wednesday and Thursday will see mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 20s and breezy conditions making it feel even colder.

Friday, however, could see the beginning of a warm up with highs back up in the 40s.

Bundle up and enjoy the week!
