Is Wappingers Falls or Newburgh the Best Town?

It's our first final four battle of Hudson Valley Madness. Which town will make it to the finals?

We've been battling Hudson Valley towns against each other and now the bracket is down to the final four. In round one Newburgh eliminated Kingston with just 57% of the vote, earning them a match up against Wappingers, which blew out Monticello in the battle of the Hudson Valley villages.

Now the two towns are fighting it out to see who makes it to the Championship Round against the winner of Poughkeepsie vs New Paltz, which will compete against each other later this week.

For now, we need you to decide who will win; Wappingers Falls or Newburgh.

The Village of Wappingers is a comeback story in the making. Just as the Village was starting to see a Renaissance, it hit a major setback when a huge fire ripped through town. With trendy new bars and restaurants leading the way, the Village continues to grow despite it's challenges.

Newburgh has seen some hard times, but there's no denying how incredibly resilient this great city is. From legendary places like Tony's Newburgh Lunch, Pete's Hot Dogs and the Rockland Bakery to newcomers like The Newburgh Brewing Company and all of the incredible restaurants and bars on the Newburgh Waterfront, the city has become the heart of the Hudson Valley.
