GAME OF THE WEEK: Softball Plays of 2015 [VIDEO]

There were several highlights and moments in the high school 2015 softball season.

Most of the big name players will be moving on to college, now.  Some of the big name players will remain on the roster for another year.  Lucky us.  

One team made it all the way to he New York State Final Four. The Iron Dukes of Marlboro showed they were the best team of its size in the area.  A Class B sized school that took down Class AA John Jay and Kingston and hung with Class AA FDR before eventually falling in an early season non- league game and eventually in the MHAL championship tournament. The Brewster Bears ran a 22-0 season before losing in the end of the Class A Sectional Championship game.

All in all, this season illustrated the positive effect that travel ball, travel coaches, and off season intensive work outs have had on these players.  Thanks for the memories.
