Disney World wants you to stop using selfie sticks on their rides.

Disney is cracking down on guests who are using selfie sticks on their rides. Disney policy forbids visitors from using the sticks. One ride, Thunder Mountain, has had a number of incidents in which the ride had to be stopped because of selfie-stick use.

There are now signs posted (see above) outside of certain rides like: Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Guests are aloud to bring them on board, but they must be stored away.

I mean let's face it, selfie sticks are ridiculous. How self-involved do you have to be, to own one of these stupid things.

Disney World is not the first to ban selfie sticks. They also are not aloud in many museums, like Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art. They are also banned from Wimbledon tennis tournament.
