AMC Theaters Introduces New Monthly Subscriptions For Movie-Goers

If your a die hard movie-goer, than AMC theaters has you covered with a new monthly subscription.

The new service allows you to see one movie a day, for $35 a month, or $45 if you want to see the movies in: IMAX, RealD 3D, or AMC ETX.

This is an attempt to boost movie theater attendance, as the numbers are declining. AMC Theaters and MoviePass are testing this service in Boston and Denver markets. According to Brent Cooke, Vice President of guest and digital marketing for AMC said, "We have one clearly defined and shared goal, which is to drive more people to movie-going in the movie theater".

The program is expected to launch Jan.5th, and is going to be available on a a limited, first come, first serve basis. You will be able to download a a smartphone app - $35 monthlly for standard movies, $45 for premium features.
