Just for the record, there is no drive-thru at Beer World.

That, however, didn't stop a car from crashing into the front of the Beer World store in Monticello on Tuesday.

According to a report by the Times Herald Record, an 83-year-old from South Fallsburg was parking his Jeep Grand Cherokee when the brakes failed. The car continued through the parking spot up onto the railing of the store, sending it crashing into the front of the building.

Luckily, there were no fatalities, only some minor injuries sustained by the passenger of the vehicle. Authorities say that if the car was positioned just a few feet to the left it would have driven completely through the store.

Eyewitnesses were quick to post images of the crash on Facebook that show just how much impact the crash had. The Jeep is shown at a 45-degree angle after traveling up the railing into the outside wall of Beer World.

Police have determined that the driver was not at fault. Also, inspectors on the scene say there was no structural damage to the building. And thankfully all of the beer is safe and sound.
