On this week's WPDH Sound Check we remember the late Gregg Allman, co-founder of "The Allman Brothers Band" who passed away last week at the age of 69.  Join us Sunday night at 10pm as we'll hear great music from his band, his solo work, and bands he influenced.  Plus Gregg in his own words.

Gregg was born Gregory Lenoir Allman in 1947 and along with his brother Duane founded "The Allman Brothers Band" settling in Macon, Georgia in 1969 after being in a band with Duane for a couple years called Hour Glass.  Gregg will be buried this weekend in Macon alongside his brother Duane who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1971 and by Allman Brothers drummer Berry Oakley who was also killed in a motorcycle accident in 1972.
