We here at WPDH know that our listeners recognize the importance of music.  We are well aware that it is because of you, our listeners, that we have been rocking in the Hudson Valley for 40 years.  It's not just about the music either.  It's about the memories.  The things we experienced with and through the music.

Wouldn't it be great if every child had the opportunity to not only listen to music, but to also get a musical education?  To know how it feels to hold a guitar and beat on the drums.  This is our goal with the Music Matters Program.  To provide underprivileged Hudson Valley children with access to musical instruments.  We have teamed up with Paul Effman Music, Barcone's Music, and Magic Moose Records, and with your help we will reach this goal.

From now through Tuesday, Sept. 6, we’re accepting nominations of children who have expressed an interest in music and could benefit from access to a musical instrument.   That's all we need from you.  That, and we could use your help in spreading the word.  Thanks for helping us make a difference through music.  To nominate a child, visit http://wpdh.com/music-matters-providing-instruments-to-children-in-need/
