Two San Diego woman got the shock of a lifetime, when they went to plunge their clogged toilet in their office.

Stephanie Lasca, and Holly Wells operate their business out of Old San Diego City Hall, which was built in 1886.

Lasca first noticed that the water level had risen in the toilet. So, she reached for the good ol' plunger. Before she cleared the bowl, she “saw the flicker of its tongue, I definitely knew that it was, in fact, a large snake heading straight toward me,” Lacsa told Pix 11.

She took off running out of the bathroom, and even taped the door shut as she called Animal Control.

The snake, was a Colombian Rainbow boa constrictor, which was 5.5 pounds, and 5.5 feet long. The snake was also shedding its skin.

According to authorities, nobody has reported a missing snake.

If the snake is not claimed, he will be given to a rescue group.
