Woman Causes Over $350,000 Damage to Hudson Valley Home
The ex-wife of a Hudson Valley homeowner apparently wasn't too happy with her ex-husband.
Ana D. Rockman, of Long Island was arrested after surrendering herself to state police in Kingston, in response to an arrest warrant being issued for her arrest.
On August 20, 2015 state police assumed an investigation from the Town of Woodstock Police Department involving the burglary and destruction of the contents of a residence in the Woodstock, NY hamlet of Bearsville.
Responding troopers had discovered that someone had forced entry to the residence and damaged the personal property of the owner.
The items damaged consisted of artwork, antiques, electronic devices, appliances, musical instruments, the structure itself, and personal sentimental items. The total dollar amount of the property damaged exceeded $350,000.00.
An investigation led to the arrest of Ana D. Rockman, of Long Island, the ex-wife of the homeowner.
Rockman was arraigned in the Town of Woodstock Court and posted $5,000 bail. Rockman was ordered to surrender her passport as a term of being released on bail.
