So, Amazon already has a headquarters in Seattle. But apparently, the massive online retailer is looking for a place to host a new headquarters, which they're calling "HQ2." So my question is, why not build that right here in the Hudson Valley?

Now, a couple of other cities have already expressed interest in housing the new HQ, like Chicago and Boston. Heck, if they wanted to, Amazon could just build it right next to their current headquarters in Seattle like when the Krusty Krab 2 opened up next to the Krusty Krab in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. But think for a second, wouldn't it be cool if it came here?

Amazon plans to spend $5 billion to build their new HQ, and it would definitely create a ton of jobs in the area. And we're close to New York City but far enough away where the building can have some real space to grow and expand.

Ok, honestly, mostly I want this because it would probably mean my packages will get shipped faster. You think I want to wait two days to get my collectible Funko Pop toy of BB-8? I want to get my stuff in 30 minutes or less with a money-back guarantee if it takes longer, like a pizza.

So, new pitch: Amazon, if you can't find a space in the Hudson Valley you want to set up shop, I will gladly offer my garage in exchange for a free Amazon Prime account. Seems fair to me.

What do you think? Do you want Amazon HQ to be in the Hudson Valley, or at the very least, in my house?
