Happy Birthday today (May 11) to drummer Christoph 'Doom' Schneider of Rammstein. He's 50. Other rockers celebrating include drummer Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band (69) and singer Eric Burdon of The Animals (75).

Most of the band's songs are in German, but they have performed songs other languages including English, Spanish, French, and Russian. They are known for their live show featuring pyrotechnics and wild antics. They are best known for their song "Du Hast" from the 1997 album Sehnsucht.
