Thursday, March 12: Happy Birthday Steve Harris of Iron Maiden

Happy Birthday today (March 12) to  bassist Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. He's 59. Harris is the primary songwriter and founding member of Iron Maiden. He's the only member of Iron Maiden to have remained with the band since the beginning, and has appeared on every album along with guitarist Dave Murray.

Rumor is that Iron Maiden will have a new album out in either late 2015 or early 2016 which will likely be followed by a world tour. And if they do return to the states we will be there. Up the Irons!
