It seems every year has it's odd trends. There was planking, horsemaning, even owling. Remember the Harlem Shake? That was cool for a minute. Now with the new year, we are greeted with the newest social media/video trend: CD flicking. But what the hell is it?

CD flicking is when you take two CDs (remember those?) and put them on the arm of your glasses, one per arm. You then flick your head so the disks end up covering your eyes in back of the lenses. Sure we can explain it all day, or we can show you some examples below.

Who comes up with the stuff?

Then, of course, there's the people who try this new trend and their glasses go flying off their head.

So my question for you is, when CD flicking dies down what's the next trend to sweep cyber space? And will it be this dumb?
