The 8th Annual Pets Alive Kitten Shower

How would you like to spend an afternoon hanging out with some cute, little, and playful balls of fur? Who doesn't love an adorable kitten? If this sounds like something for you, then mark your calendar for May 8. It's less than two weeks away.

I'm talking about the 8th Annual Pets Alive Kitten Shower at Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road in Middletown, Saturday May 11 from 1pm-4pm. There will be raffles and refreshments, and you'll be able to learn about the great programs that Pets Alive supports. If you plan to attend, Pets Alive is asking that you bring an item from their wish list. Some of the items included on the list are ProPlan or Fancy Feast canned kitten food, Kitten Chow dry food, paper towels, bleach, receiving blankets and laundry detergent.

Thanks to the success of this event for the past 7 years, Pets Alive has been able to help close to 300 kittens every year go on to live happy and healthy lives in their furrever homes. For more information and to see a full list of items on the wish list, visit the event facebook page.
