Steely Dan legend Walter Becker has died of unknown causes at the age of 67.

Steely Dan played the Classic West festival on July 15, 2017 at Dodger Stadium with the Eagles and the Doobie Brothers.

The news has just broken that Steely Dan founder Donald Fagen has formed a new band called The Nightflyers, and we here in the Hudson Valley couldn't be more proud.

They're promising setlists filled with Steely Dan hits and songs from Donald Fagen's solo albums plus "some swell surprises," Fagen says.

We've compiled everything we know, and don't know, about the Classic West and East festivals featuring the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and more.

The theme is old and/or new right now on My Lost Treasure, and today we have one with a very local connection.  I do not know if it is common knowledge that today's song was written about Bard College right here in the Hudson Valley, or if it is something just the locals know about...
