Sunday, January 10: Rock n Roll Birthdays

Happy Birthday today (Jan. 10) to Rod Stewart. He’s 71. Other rockers celebrating include Pat Benatar (63), Donald Fagen of Steely Dan (68), guitarist Michael Schenker (61), and drummer Aynsley Dunbar (Jefferson Starship, Journey, David Bowie, Whitesnake) is 70.

Born in London, Rod Stewart is one of the best selling artists of all time with over 100 million records sold worldwide and he is a two time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was inducted as a solo artist in 1994 and as a member of the Faces in 2012. He achieved great success in the 1970's through the 1990's and also had successful albums since the early 2000's with the Great American Songbook series. His latest album Another Country was released in 2015.
