Today (Sept. 16) marks the 30th anniversary of the Kiss album ‘Asylum’. We will feature tracks from this album today at 6:35pm.

Kiss' thirteenth studio album, it was released on Mercury Records Sept. 16, 1985. It was the first album album to feature new addition Bruce Kullick on lead guitar, who had played on one song on their previous album Animalize. Asylum features a lighter, glam rock sound compared to previous albums.

The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in November of 1985 and went on to sell over 1.5 million copies.
