Spring is here and the bike is ready to go. How about taking it for a spin around beautiful Dutchess County for a great cause? You can do that this Sunday, April 29, at The Love Holds Life Ride for Kids with Cancer.

The Red Knights NY-33 Chapter and The Love Holds Life Team will host the ride through the Dutchess County countryside. All proceeds from this event will go directly to local Hudson Valley children who are battling cancer and their families to help pay for costs associated with their illness that are not covered by insurance.

The ride starts at the Vail Wolff McKenna Frye VFW Post 170 on Violet Avenue in Poughkeepsie. Registration starts at 9 am with kickstands up at 11 am. It's $25 per rider, $15 for an extra passenger. Your entry fee Includes breakfast, lunch, live music, and prizes. There will also be a 50/50, commemorative t-Shirts, raffles and more. Even a custom photographer available to take pictures of you and your bike.

The ride is rain or shine. For more information about this Sunday Ride for Kids with Cancer, visit their facebook page.
