A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the shooting death of a man in Beacon this past August. 

The New York State Crime Stoppers, who are acting as a resource for the City of Beacon Police Department are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the shooting death of Scott A. Cumming Jr. in the City of Beacon.

On August 22, 2016 around 9:30 pm, Scott A. Cummings was shot outside of 79 South Davies Terrace between South Avenue and Davies Avenue, in the City of Beacon.

The suspects vehicle is believed to be a dark SUV, possibly a Honda Pilot.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) immediately. Callers can remain anonymous. there is no caller ID on the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline phones.
