If you think there is no hope for the future, think again. The world is full of bright young minds just waiting to invent the next big thing or discover the cure for deadly diseases. Want proof? Head to Poughkeepsie Day School this Sunday.

Poughkeepsie Day School and the Mid Hudson Children's Museum present the Poughkeepsie Mini Maker Faire this Sunday, Nov. 18 from 10 am - 4 pm at the school at 260 Boardman Road in Poughkeepsie. Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, it is a venue for "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, and projects. It's a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness. And the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum will host the Young Maker's Pavilion for children from 3-10 yeas old.
