Police: Traffic Stop Leads to Drug, Weapons Charges
A traffic stop in Dutchess County led to a man being arrested on drug and weapons charges.
Gene Tuck, 37, of Dover was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth-degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth-degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh-degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth-degree, and various traffic infractions.
The arrest was a result of a traffic stop. Tuck's vehicle was stopped on Route 55 in dover, after he failed to stop at a stop sign.
Tuck was arraigned in the Town of Dover Court, and released on his own recognizance. He scheduled back in court at a later date to answer to his charges, according to a press release.
