The New York State Police at Dover Plains need your help in identifying skeletal remains found in Dutchess County

State Police discovered the human remains in a wooded area south of the Silo Ridge Golf Course, off of Route 22, in the Town of Amenia. Police determined that the remains were in the woods for at least nine months before being found.

An investigation determined that the remains are from an adult white male around 5'6" with a 40" to 42" waist. It's believed the he had dark or graying hair and was possibly of South American descent. The man was also found to have gold-shell bridge dental work.

A number of articles of clothing that police believe was worn by the deceased was also found in the woods. They consist of a plaid extra-large long sleeve Arrow big oxford shirt, tan Perry Ellis Portfolio pants, black leather belt, and brown Giorgio Brutini leather shoes.

Facial reconstruction was completed and police believe the remains belong to an adult man with these possible appearances.
