Police: Narcan Used to Save Orange County Man
Earlier this week, police in Orange County used Narcan to save a man life.
On Wednesday March 21, 2018, Town of Wallkill Police responded toa an "Emergency Medical Services" call behind an area residence.
Upon arrival, police located a 30-year old Town of Wallkill resident unconscious on the ground. He was unresponsive and demonstrating signs of an overdose.
Officers began administering emergency first-aid, including the use of Department issued nasally delivered Narcan.
Within one minute, the victim regained consciousness and was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
