Two Hyde Park residents have been arrested on felony charges after allegedly possessing stolen checks. 

Arianna Holt, 23 and Kristen Zietz, 25 were arrested by state troopers from the Rhinebeck barracks and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument second-degree, a felony.

In December of 2016, state police were contacted by a Hyde Park resident who reported that several checks had been forged and cashed from her account without her authorization.

An investigation revealed that the defendants allegedly stole three checks from the victim, who was family member. Holt and Zietz received approximately $414 by passing the forged checks at the Mid-Hudson Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie.

The two were arraigned and sent to Dutchess County Jail.
