Operation: Mindcrime Featuring Geoff Tate Play The Chance This Friday

Former Queensryche frontman Geoff Tate brings his band Operation: Mindcrime to The Chance in Poughkeepsie this Friday, March 4. Showtime 7:30pm.

Operation: Mindcrime formed in 2014 and it features Geoff Tate on lead vocals, along with Disturbed bassist John Moyer and former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright. After leaving Queensryche in 2012, Geoff Tate and his former bandmates were involved in a legal battle over the Queensryche name. Following the settlement, Tate was granted exclusive performance rights to the classic Queensryche album Operation: Mindcrime and his former bandmates retained all rights to the Queensryche name. Geoff Tate's Operation: Mindcrime will be performing material from the concept album, along with material from the band's album The Key which was released last year, plus other Queensryche songs. After show party immediately follows the concert next door at The Nuddy Bar and Grill.
