My Lost Treasure: The Doors

Weather related songs is the theme on My Lost Treasure, and it is a good one today to kick off a Saturday  Especially since I'm going to be at The Solarsest at Sunpower in Modena today from 1:30 - 3:30  Very early on during this theme I played Riders On The Storm by The Doors.  Today, it's a Doors sun song.

I have always loved The Doors.  I remember my older brother listening to them when I was really young, and a lot of their songs became big hits and were played on the radio often.  Even top 40 radio.  Then I started hanging out with my friend Dan, and I started listening to much deeper cuts by The Doors.  The I started working at WPDH and I really became familiar with The Doors.  I guess you could say I have a long history with The Doors.

This one goes out to Mike Renza, aka Fireman Mike.  He is a big Doors fan, and has called the radio station many times to request them.  It's also for WPDH fill in newsman John Clark, another fan of The Doors.  And for you if you are a Doors fan.  Have a great weekend.
