My Lost Treasure: The Cowsills

Today I am wrapping up the body parts theme here on My Lost Treasure. I am pretty sure we could have squeezed out a few more songs, but the theme is getting old and it is time to move on. And we are ending the theme with a "hair" song. It's an old one, but it's good.

The version of today's treasure is not the one I heard first. My older brother owned the soundtrack to the Broadway show Hair, and it played a lot around our house when i was a little kid. The original cast of the show did the first version of Hair that I remember. But The Cowsills covered it, made it their own, and had a big hit with it. So that is the version that most people remember, and that is the one I am playing today.
