My Lost Treasure: Meat Loaf

The theme on My Lost Treasure is transportation, and we're concentrating on automobiles.  Or, in today's case, things that might happen in automobiles.  There was a time when you would hear this song on the radio all the time.  Not so much these days, though.

I got to meet Meat Loaf years ago when he brought his Storytellers tour to the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie.  I was one of the people walking through the audience with a mic.  I would hold the mic up to audience members that had questions.  I had to meet with Meat in his dressing room before the show for all the instructions...and there were a lot of them.

I was pretty nervous, but it turned out to be a great night.  I'll always remember how important I felt to be part of the show.  And afterward, Meat Loaf told me what a good job I did.  Of course today's car song was the show stopper!
