My Lost Treasure: Jackson Browne

If you know me even just a little, or if you read My Lost Treasure, you know that one of my all time favorite musicians is Jackson Browne.  I have loved him since I was in high school.  The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is songs with rock or rock and roll in the title.  I am happy to say that Jackson Browne has a song that fits the theme.  And thanks to Rob Brousseau for the suggestion.

This song brings back some great memories from back in the day, but also some great more recent memories.  When my boyfriend Bobby was in John Hall's band, Rock Me On The Water was one of the songs the band covered.  John even covered it on one of his albums.  All the songs on the album had a sailing/water theme.  It was a really fun time for us, and a great opportunity for Bobby.  In fact, it was through John Hall that we got to meet Jackson Browne.
