Happy Birthday today (June 4) to keyboardist, guitarist Paul Taylor of Winger. He's 58.

Hair metal band Winger formed out of NYC and gained popularity during the late 1980's and early 1990's. The band's lineup features Kip Winger on vocals, guitarist Reb Beach, keyboardist/guitarist Paul Taylor, bassist John Roth and drummer Rod Morgenstein. They had two platinum selling albums with Winger and In the Heart of the Young with hit singles like "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak", and "Miles Away". The band had chart success in the early 1990's and were even nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". The band broke up after the release of their third album, 1993's Pull but eventually reunited in 2001. Winger continues to tour and record, while Kip Winger splits his time between the band and a solo career that includes acoustic shows. Cheers to Paul Taylor on his birthday today!
