A Hudson Valley man was sentenced to prison time after leading police on a wild chase.

Mark Bressendorff, 34, of Poughkeepsie was sentenced Tuesday to one to four years in prison for leading police on a wild chase through the City of Newburgh last fall.

Police responded to a noise complaint, and when police tried to questioned him, Bressendorff said he would talk to them later and took off in his vehicle. He reached speeds of 60 M.P.H within the city, and other drivers had to bail out of their lanes to avoid colliding with him. He even went as far to ram the police cars.

Bressendorff was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay $21,311 in restitution to the City of Newburgh Police and State Police, as reported by the Record.
