Daniel Craig has one more James Bond outing before he exits the franchise. The speculation over who will step into the 007 suit next has been up for debate for… three years. Three long years of rumors and reports and dream casting. It probably won’t be Idris Elba. It supposedly won’t ever be a woman. But a new report has surfaced to add another potential name to the list: Robb Stark.

OK not Robb Stark, the former King in the North before Jon Snow took over, but the guy who played him on Game of Thrones. Richard Madden, who currently leads the BBC series Bodyguard, is rumored to be one of the top picks to take over as Bond after Craig. A new rumor in The Sun – remember, just a rumor! – claims Madden is at the top of longtime Bond executive producer Barbara Broccoli’s list. An unnamed source claims she’s close to offering him the role, but honestly, I highly doubt Eon Productions will come close to announcing anything until Bond 25 is out and done with, so it’s best to take all these Bond rumors with a heavy does of skepticism.

That said, I could see the GoT star as the next Bond. He’s not that big of a name compared to those rumored over the years, like Elba and Tom Hardy, which could be a refreshing way to restart the franchise. While more known for his TV work, the 32-year old hasn’t had a major film role beyond Prince Charming in Disney’s Cinderella remake – he also has a part in the upcoming Elton John biopic Rocketman. His casting would also make him the youngest Bond’s alongside Sean Connery, who debuted in Dr. No at 32.

But honestly, who knows! We’ve still got one more movie with Craig. Bond 25 finally found its new director in Cary Fukunaga after Danny Boyle exited the project. The film begins production next March and is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2020.
