Casting Call Looking For Babies For Filming in Dutchess County

There are a ton of movies and television shows filming in and around the Hudson Valley.

It looks like one of them needs a few fresh faces for a project filming in Dutchess County.

Hudson Valley Film Commission posted on social media that Roman Candle Casting is casting for a "production in the Newburgh/Hudson Valley area."

In the post Hudson Valley Film Commission shares the following:

They are looking for babies, twins or triplets ages 12 months - 24 months for a project filming in Hopewell Junction from October to December.

The role is paid, but it's a "non speaking" role and the child will be playing the child or the main actor in the series.

As of right, now we don't have any information about what the series is but the post goes on to add "Details will be discussed upon submission."

What You'll Need to Apply For The Role

If you have a baby, twins or triplets that are any where from 12 months old to 24 months old and are interested in getting them on the big screen, there are a few things Roman Candle Casting needs.

You'll need to sent them a recent photo, your child's/children's names, Date of Birth, heigh and weight, as well as the parent's name, email and phone number.

What's Currently Filming Around the Hudson Valley?

While we wait to learn more about the new tv series filming in Hopewell Junction, there are plenty of projects currently filming in the area.

In the first few weeks of September 2026, the new Netflix series God of The Woods was reported to be filming in Marlboro at the Raccoon Saloon and in the Goshen area.

A new movie starring Emma Stone and Chris Pine called The Catch was seen filming on Sheaf Road in Wappingers Falls (if you see the yellow set signs around town that say "Keychain" that's the code word for The Catch).

Fox's Best Medicine began filming season 2 in July 2026 and returned to Orange and Dutchess County for filming. If you drive around the New Hamburg train station in Poughkeepsie, you may see film crews out and about filming on location.
