There's certainly no shortage of quality pizza establishments in the Hudson Valley already, but I think we can all agree that we'll never turn down the opportunity to try a slice at a new pizza spot or location. Though, if there is someone in your life who doesn't want to try new pizza with you, do you need to surround yourself with that type of negativity...(kidding, but not really).

A Hopewell Junction pizza location that recently closed up shop without much warning has reopened as a fresh new business, and locals are praising both their food, and the kindness of their staff.

Aliano's Pizza Hopwell Junction Quietly Closes

We've talked about Aliano's pizza near the intersection of 376 and 82 in Hopewell Junction for the past few years, especially around Valentine's Day, as they were one of the best local spots to pick up a heart shaped pie.

Back in August, customers and local community members noticed that the owners posted they would be closing for vacation, but come September when they never returned or reopened, inquiries intensified about the status and future of the pizzeria and restaurant.

In late September we discovered signage on the front door indicating that they were 'in the process of remodeling' and thanked customers for their patience.

They didn't end up reopening.

'Sensational' Hopewell Pizza Celebrates Opening in Hopewell Junction

For the past few weeks, it seems like much of the 'pizza talk' in the Hudson Valley, and especially within the East Fishkill Community Forum on Facebook, has been about this amazing new pizzeria that opened in Hopewell at the former Aliano's location.

Hopewell Pizza, located at 410 NY-376 in Hopewell Junction has been receiving a great deal of praise about their pizza and other offerings, and how owner, Frankie, has 'knocked it out of the park' at his new establishment.

Not a newcomer to the pizza game, Frankie was the former owner of Front Street Pizza in Patterson, NY. Visitors to his new Hopewell Pizza location have had nothing but wonderful things to say about him (and his family) as a business owner.

Barstool's Dave Portnoy finally came to the Mid-Hudson Region to give a "One Bite Review" on what he was told is "great pizza" from the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Superb Pizza, Gluten Free Options, Giant Garlic Knots at Hopewell Pizza

Those who have stopped in for a slice, ordered meals to go, or enjoyed dinner at the Hopewell establishment have raved about the offerings, including the expansive gluten free options.

Ordered a regular pie and a gluten-free pie, both were superb. He also has a full menu of gluten-free pastas, including even gluten free meatballs, which is unheard of. I urge everyone to try them out. Best of luck.

While they haven't shared information of any official grand opening, and are still rolling out new menu items, it seems like the Hudson Valley has been pretty receptive to another locally owned and operated pizza spot to call their own in Hopewell Pizza.
