Between work and the amount of travel to get to the closest music store offering any sort of lessons, I was never going to have the time to learn to play the guitar from an instructor.

Plus, I had already briefly tried guitar lessons as a kid, and I just didn't have the patience to really sit down and take all that time to practice. Many of my big guitar heroes are practicing at least three hours a day. I didn't and still don't have that time. There has to be an easier way to bring that expertise to your home.

Well, if you're still dreaming of becoming the next Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads, you can do it the easy way like me — with Fret Zealot.

The system makes it really easy and convenient to learn. Their tutorials combine video music lessons with a state-of-the-art LED system that attaches to your fretboard and shows you where to press when. And it doesn't matter if you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player.  You can take the mellow approach to start with Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb or go all out with something like AC/DC's Thunderstruck.

With Fret Zealot, you can pick what songs you want to learn how to play. They have over 3,000 lessons, over 100 courses, and a library of over 80,000 songs. Look at the awesome variety of courses they offer!

The Rock Essentials course really got my attention, plus courses featuring the riffs of guitar legends like Jimmy Page, John Frusciante, and Dimebag Darrell.

Their average user session is only 15 minutes. There are also many genres to choose from, and you don't have to start off with the same old boring songs. Make it your own. Become the rock star you've always wanted to be under in your own time and terms.

I'm going to keep you updated on my progress, but I also encourage you to try Fret Zealot today and learn guitar with light. Check out Fretzealot.com for more.
