A Georgia man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a Hudson Valley man.

Tuesday just before 3:00 a.m., the Ulster Police Department responded to an assault complaint on Frank Sottile Boulevard. Upon arrival, patrols found a victim with injuries sustained from the assault.

Police say it was determined that during the course of an altercation 34-year-old Christopher S. Roberson, of Covington, Georgia assaulted the other party with a knife causing a cut to the victim's head.

The unnamed male victim was transported to Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley Kingston Campus, treated, and was released.
