Friday, October 9: Rock n Roll Birthdays

Happy Birthday today (Oct. 9) to Jackson Browne. The rocker is 67. In remembrance today, Beatle John Lennon would have been 75 and bassist John Entwistle would have been 71.

Jackson Browne has sold over 18 million album in the U.S. Browne rose to fame in the 1970's and his 1977 release 'Running on Empty', was a huge success, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Albums chart in 1978 and staying on the charts for 65 weeks. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

And we remember two members of two of the biggest rock bands of all time today. John Lennon of the Beatles, and John Entwistle of The Who. Hard to believe John Lennon would be turning 75 today.
