Former Rainbow Singer Plays Daryl’s House Wednesday
Graham Bonnet brings his band to Daryl's House in Pawling this Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7pm.
Graham Bonnet is best known for his powerful singing voice and wide vocal range as lead singer of several hard rock/metal bands in the 1970's and 1980's including Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Alcatrazz, and Impellitteri. He sang on Rainbow's 1979 album Down to Earth which featured the hit singles "Since You Been Gone" and "All Night Long". After his short time with Rainbow he resumed a solo career until joining the Michael Schenker Group for the 1982 album Assault Attack. After leaving MSG, Bonnet formed his own band Alcatrazz whick also featured guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen on the band's 1983 debut No Parole for Rock and Roll. Alcatrazz recorded three studio albums with with various lineup changes. Other projects Graham Bonnet was involved in included the band Impellitteri, who's 1988 album Stand in Line featured a cover of Rainbow's "Since You Been Gone". The Graham Bonnet Band released their debut album The Book in 2016. Get on out this Wednesday for what is sure to be a great night of rock n roll!
