A cold front will sweep across the Hudson Valley Friday night, ushering in cooler and drier weather for the area.  Saturday and Sunday’s weather will be sunny but temperatures will struggle to get out the upper 60’s.  More fall like, unlike the warm temperatures we had last weekend.  We can’t rule out some showers early Saturday morning.  Plus, we’ll notice a bit of a north wind on Saturday and a bit less for Sunday.

It appears the seasonal weather will continue into next week.  Temperatures appear to hang around that mid 60’s. Could the cooler weather be here to stay?

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Saturday:  A chance of showers, mainly before 7am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. North wind 9 to 11 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

Sunday Night:  Partly cloudy, low around 48.

Monday:  Mostly sunny, high near 67.
